Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Driver Injured In Gloucester County Crash: Njsp A driver was injured when he veered off Route 42 in Gloucester County, authorities said. Troopers responded to the crash shortly before 1 p.m. on Monday, May 6 at milepost 12.5 in Deptford Township, according to New Jersey State Police. Based on a preliminary investigation, a BMW passenger vehicle was traveling southbound on Route 42 when the driver lost directional control and struck the guardrail, State Police said. Driver Charged With DWI After 3-Car Crash In South Jersey: Police A 38-year-old man from Millville was charged with driving while intoxicated after a three-vehicle crash in Vineland, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 at South Delsea Drive and West Sherman Avenue, according to Vineland police. In addition to DWI, Gibrant Espinosa was charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, uninsured motorist, endangering the welfare of a child, and assault by auto, police said.
