The purpose of the class is to teach conversational English so that people will feel more comfortable communicating in English.
The goal is to give people confidence to speak and socialize in the community, such as interacting in school environments with their children and teachers.
Students will learn their first 1000 words in English in an effort to better communicate their needs, interests and questions while interacting with others.
Many of the instructor's former students have continued on at higher levels of English as a Second Language.
