Unfounded Bomb Threat Clears Edgewater Target

EDGEWATER, N.J. -- Nothing harmful was found after the Target store in Edgewater was cleared by a bomb threat.

"The caller stated a bomb in the bathroom was set to go off at 7 p.m.," Police Chief William Skidmore told Daily Voice.

The Bergen County Sheriff's Bomb Squad and K-9 Unit searched the building.

"No device was found," Skidmore said.
