Seen Him? Fairview Police Seek Help Nabbing Cigarette Bandit

FAIRVIEW, N.J. -- Fairview police turned to the public for help finding a man who they said held up a local convenience store -- for nothing more than a pack of cigarettes.

The bandit seen in the surveillance photo above threatened a clerk at the Broad Avenue Quik Chek around 2 a.m. Saturday, claiming that he had had a gun, borough police said.

Then he "walked behind the counter and helped himself" to the smokes, they said.
