Officer Eustachio Fabrizio pulled over a blue 2004 Toyota Camry with Georgia license plates on southbound Broad Avenue just after 2:45 p.m. Sunday because the passenger-side brake light was out, Deputy Police Chief Robert Meurer told Daily Voice.

The driver, 34-year-old Christopher Lee Setser, "was very nervous," Meurer said, "and the officer ran a computer check that turned up a fugitive warrant."

Setser was convicted of statutory rape in 2002 and was under lifetime parole supervision, records show.

Ridgefield police notified the Blue Ridge Sheriff's Department and took Setser to the Bergen County Jail.

He remained held without bail there on the warrant pending extradition.
