A judge ordered Olga Rodriguez, 32, held on $5,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail following her arrest Tuesday on witness tampering charges.

Investigators interviewed several people involved in the case before bringing the charges against Rodriguez, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

Members of his Special Victims Unit and Fairview police conducted the probe after his office on Monday “received information that the victim of an aggravated criminal sexual contact investigation was being coerced to recant allegations previously made to law enforcement officers so that charges filed against the defendant in that investigation would be dismissed,” Grewal said Thursday.

Rodriguez was scheduled for a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on Oct. 31.
