Bergen man admits having kiddie porn stash

A 20-year-old Paramus man admitted he had more than 600 images of child pornography at his parents home, where he lived with three youngers siblings, ages 17, 13, and 8.

Justin Birdsall could go to federal prison for several years after pleading guilty in Newark today a single count of child porn possession.

The images included photos of minors “engaging in sexually explicit conduct with other minors and adults,” U.S. Prosecutor Paul J. Fishman said.

U.S. District Judge Dennis M. Cavanaugh scheduled sentencing for June 13.

Fishman credited special agents of the FBI’s Innocent Images Squad. Assistant U.S. Attorney Ronnell L. Wilson of the U.S. Attorney’s Office Criminal Division in Newark handled the prosecution.
