Pink Heals: Ridgefield Organizations Fight Hunger At The Hospital

RIDGEFIELD, N.J. — The Ridgefield Anti-Bullying Committee is standing up to hunger at Hackensack University Medical Center.

The committee is partnering with Bergen County Pink Heels — launched by Ridgefield Volunteer Firefighter John LaFalce — for a food drive at Engine Co. 3 on Nov. 20.

Donations will stock the food pantry at Tomorrow's Children's Fund at HUMC.

The committee is seeking:

  • stuffing
  • gravy
  • cranberry sauce
  • canned corn
  • canned sweet potatoes
  • cake and bread mixes
  • pumpkin/apple pie filling
  • olives
  • crackers
  • mac & cheese
  • plates/napkins
  • supermarket gift cards

The fire station is located on Shaler Boulevard in Ridgefield.
