Bergen County Lost and Found Pet Has Holiday Goodies and Fund Drive

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. -- The Bergen County Lost and Found Pets is calling upon the public's sense of giving this holiday season to collect much needed supplies for found animals.

The 2015 Holiday Fundraiser and Rescue Pet Donations initiative is seeking the most sought after items, including dog and cat food (wet and dry), dog and cat treats, sturdy dog and cat toys, kitty litter, litters boxes, pet beds, pet bowls, leashes, collars, cleaning products, garbage bags and gift cards to pet and food stores.

Items can be dropped off at 35 Windsor Court, Norwood, next to the garage until 9 p.m. Please call Janine, founder of Lost and Found Pets, at 201 566-8940 for pickups.

Other drop off locations include:

  • Amato’s Franklin Garage, 3 Prospect St., Bergenfield - 5 a.m.-midnight daily
  • Hackensack UMC Wellness and Fitness, 87 Route 17 North, Maywood - 5 a.m.-11 p.m. weekdays, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. weekends
  • Samantha, 551-265-8732, 117 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge - 7:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., please call first (will also pick up in Lodi and Garfield)
  • For Westwood and its surrounding areas, please call Ruth at 201-341-0152
