The 7 p.m. event is in memory of Coach Gabrielle Carpenter's late uncle Julio Alvarez, who died of heart disease, and her mother, Connie Carpenter, who is recovering from a heart problem.

The 3-hour fundraiser is being held in coordination with the Wear Red Day on Friday, Feb. 5, which aims to bring awareness toward the disease.

Admission is $35 and includes a T-shirt, goody bag, 10 raffle tickets and a prize ticket.

All proceeds will benefit the Go Red for Women foundation, an organization that aims to improve the lives of all Americans through educational programs.
