RIDGEFIELD, N. J. -- Conflict among administrators in Ridgefield Public Schools appears headed for court now that a principal of two Ridgefield schools filed a lawsuit against the district, claiming a hostile work environment, according to NorthJersey.com.
Anna Rubio Gaeta, principal of Bergen Boulevard School and the Shaler Academy, is suing for damages and court costs, saying that racially insensitive remarks directed at her Hispanic heritage were allowed by school administrators, NorthJersey.com said.
The lawsuit names Janet Seabold, the district’s director of curriculum, and Superintendent of Schools Frank Romano as defendants. It was filed last month in state Superior Court in Bergen County, NorthJersey.com reported.
