CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. — While Fairview voters approved their school budget proposal, those in North Bergen and Palisades Park rejected theirs, according to The Record.
The North Bergen budget will now be reviewed by the Board of Commissioners, which can either approve it or make cuts, and the school board could then appeal that ruling at a state level, The Record reported. The process is similar in Palisades Park.
The Record also noted that this voters-saying-no is a tradition in North Bergen, but relatively new to Palisades Park. Read the Record's full story here.
