College-Bound Cliffside Park Students Earn Scholarships

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J.– College-bound Cliffside Park High School students received more than 50 scholarships duirng the school's annual awards dinner at Villa Amalfi Restaurant.

Jessica Lombardi and Nicholas Esposito received 12 and eight scholarships, respectively, Tuesday night. These included the US Army National Scholar Athlete Award, presented to both. 

Other teens won multiple scholarships, as well. 

Members of the Class of 1980 raised $1,000 for a scholarship, which went to senior Misurela Llukovi of Fairview. 

"We’ve decicide to fundraise every year to continue this tradition -- and hope other classes will follow suit," said Kathi Kolodinsky-Nubile, the reunion chairperson and member of the scholarship committee.

Nubile, along with her brother, George, and husband, Bruce, from F&D Frame Company presented a $250 art scholarship on behalf of her mother, Mitzi Kolodinsky, to Anastasia Andrioupolis.
