Bogota BOE Fires Longtime Attorney For Billing Discrepancies

BOGOTA, N.J. — The Bogota Board of Education fired longtime attorney Richard Brovarone for alleged discrepancies between his bills didn't match the amount he was being paid, NorthJersey.com reports.

An audit recently revealed Brovarone was billing the district $7,900 flat monthly, but the NJ Department of Education told the district that he should eb regularly submitting itemized invoices detailing the bills, the article says.
