Bogota To Bond $1.34 Million To Cover Capital Projects

BOGOTA, N.J. — Revenue from a bond sale approved by the Bogota Mayor and Council last week will mostly finance Department of Public Works buildings, equipment and trucks, according to northjersey.com.

A $1.34 million bond ordinance will pay for several capital projects, including an estimated $610,000 for two DPW buildings, and $319,000 for its trucks and equipment, reports northjersey.com.

New equipment worth $101,000 is slated for the fire and police departments, and $5,000 is set aside for computers for the borough, according to northjersey.com.

Road resurfacing is estimated to cost $235,000; sanitary sewer improvements, $35,000; road striping work, street sign replacement and sidewalk repairs, $35,000, reports northjersey.com.
