A PSE&G crew responded to the President Street building, where the roof dangled along the side from utility wires attached to a nearby pole after the 11 a.m. mishap, Police Chief Robert Kugler told Daily Voice.

Meanwhile, 4th Street was closed at President Street.

"Hopefully the building owner can get his roofer on scene and a temporary fix initiated before the predicted heavy rains come [Monday afternoon]," the chief said. "If not, the matter will worsen for the building -- and especially the occupants."
