Ridgefield Father, Son Busted On Drug Charges

RIDGEFIELD, N.J. -- An unemployed father and son from Ridgefield were selling drugs from their home before Bergen County detectives and local police raided it and arrested them, authorities said Friday.

Joseph N. Marttine, 50, and Rocci L. Marttine, 28, were taken into custody after a court-warranted raid on their Maple Avenue home turned up cocaine, heroin, various prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and $9,090 in cash, acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

Both were released without bail on drug possession charges pending an Aug. 3 court date, Grewal said.

Grewal thanked Ridgefield and Cliffside Park police for their roles in his office's Narcotic Task Force investigation, search and arrests.
