Stephen Petruzzello, who was struck and killed by an SUV in 2014, will have his image on stamps created by his father, Ron Petruzzello, selling them in his memory.

"Stephen always wanted to donate time and there was a lot of things he wanted to do so we try to carry that on in his memory," Petruzzello said.

The department will begin selling Petruzzello's stamps by the end of this week. All proceeds go toward the junior police academy.

Faiview Police Chief Martin Kahn purchased 100 stamps to kickstart the venture.

The stamps will be available for purchase through the Cliffside Park Police Department by Nov. 21. Interested parties can call the department's number: (201) 945-3600.
