FAIRVIEW, N.J. -- RECOGNIZE HIM? A brazen thief snatched a donation jar to help the poor from one Fairview restaurant and a tip jar from another, authorities said Thursday.
The thief, who was wearing a Miami Dolphins baseball cap and carrying a messenger bag, grabbed a donation jar dedicated to helping needy families in El Salvador from Alfaro's Restaurant on Anderson Avenue on Wednesday, Police Chief Martin Kahn told Daily Voice.
The same man took a tip jar containing $50 from El Trancazo Restaurant on Fairview Avenue, Kahn said.
Besides the aqua football cap, he was wearing a white t shirt and black pants, the chief said.
