Police: Palisades Park OD Victim At Newark Airport Didn't Breach Security

PALISADES PARK, N.J. -- A 64-year-old contractor from Palisades Park who died following a heroin overdose inside a Newark Airport cargo warehouse didn't have access to aicraft, the tarmac or any terminals, a Port Authority spokesman told Daily Voice on Monday.

Police were called by a 29-year-old companion around 1:50 a.m. Saturday and found the couple in the building, where the unconscious victim worked, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo said.

He was pronounced dead a short time later at Newark Beth Israel Hospital, Pentangelo said.
