Borough detectives arrested Felix Urgiles, 28, of New York City after the victim got his license plate number and a witness snapped a cellphone photo of him during the Oct. 12 incident at River Road and Linden Place, Detective Sgt. Kevin Van Saders told Daily Voice.

Urgiles passed the victim on the left and cut him off, causing the crash, witnesses told police.

Urgiles then stopped his car and got out with the baseball bat, they said.

He then "continually hit the victim’s driver side window until it shattered," Van Saders said.

Urgiles also "repeatedly struck the victim’s windshield, causing multiple cracks," before returning to his car and driving off, the sergeant said.

Police charged him with attempted aggravated assault with a weapon, criminal mischief and various weapons possession counts.

Urgiles was released without bail pending a hearing, Van Saders said.
