"Just a great job by diligent detectives," Police Chief Martin Kahn told Daily Voice after a judge ordered 26-year-old Jose A. Benitez held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.

Detective Sgts. Michael Martic and Joselito Rivas cracked the case and arrested Benitez on Monday after obtaining surveillance video, Kahn said.

"It's still being investigated," the chief told Daily Voice. "We're working on getting the proceeds back, as well."
