EDGEWATER, N.J.– Two new police officers and one special officer on Monday night were sworn in at Edgewater's Mayor and Council meeting.

Chief William Skidmore called the hires "much needed."
"I look forward to them joining the force so we can continue our proactive stance on law enforcement," he said.
