Driver With Permit, 24, OK After Sedan Hits Cliffside Park House

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- A sedan hit a house in Cliffside Park Monday afternoon but didn't cause any serious damage.

There was no immediate word on injuries.

The 24-year-old motorist, who had her driver's permit, was uninjured after her Toyota Corolla hit the Cecelia Avenue house around 1:30 p.m., Police Chief Richard Gaito told Daily Voice.

The driver "made a right turn and missed the road," a responder at the scene said.

No summonses were issued, the chief said.
