Driver Climbs Out After SUV Tips, Slides In Cliffside Park

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- An SUV driver climbed out the rear hatch after the vehicle tipped over Wednesday night on a Cliffside Park street.

The driver was OK, witnesses said.

Witnesses told Daily Voice the SUV slid 10 to 15 feet on Oakdene Avenue at Dewey Avenue, less than a block from Rudy's Restaurant on Anderson Avenue, around 9 p.m.

The driver didn't appear seriously injured, they said.
