CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Cliffside Park detectives made quick work of arresting a 28-year-old borough man who they said slashed 21 tires on 15 different vehicles Monday night.
Amarildo R. Veliu was arrested Wednesday after investigators identified him from neighborhood surveillance footage, Police Chief Richard Gaito told Daily Voice.
Veliu was released on a summons pending an initial Municipal Court appearance Thursday night on 15 counts of criminal mischief.
Veliu lives in the area of Glen Street, Lawton Avenue and Lafayette Avenue, where the slashings occurred, Gaito said.
