'Can I Say You're Hot?' Teen Sues Glen Rock Police Over Text Messages

GLEN ROCK, N.J. — A 17-year-old girl is suing Glen Rock, its police department and a former detective who she says sent her 189 mostly sexually suggestive texts after she was arrested in 2015, NJ.com reports.

Following her May 2015 arrest, the 17-year-old was assigned to be supervised by Former police officer and juvenile detective Eric Reamy, and claims in the suit he texted her messages like "Can I say you're hot?", NJ.com says. 

Reamy in 2015 pleaded guilty to sending sexually explicit texts from his work cell phone to 14 and 17-year-old girls.
