The introductions were made during a Youth Academies Benefit Dinner held Friday at the Bogota VFW Post #5561 hall.
The dinner helped raise funds for the class and gave the applicants and their families a chance to meet some of the instructors.
The first cadet announced was Jordan Lavalle, an honor graduate from last summer's class.
The next 10: Calista D., Justin C., Daniella A., Stephen S., Michelle M., Bryan L., Bryan M., Matthew L., Miyanna L. & Tanais R.
Forty-five more cadets were to be admitted to this summer's class, which will run from July 28 to Aug. 9.
