$300K Bail For Fairview Cook Charged With Sexually Abusing Girl For 4 Years

FAIRVIEW, N.J. – A judge ordered a 35-year-old Fairview cook held on $300,000 bail after authorities charged him with sexual abusing a girl for four years -- beginning before she turned 13.

Ronald M. Granados had sex with the girl in both the borough and in Fort Lee, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Thursday.

Granados was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, sexual assault by contact, criminal sexual contact and child endangerment, he said.

The investigation by detectives from Grewal’s Special Victims Unit, along with Fairview and Fort Lee police, began last month with a tip from the state Division of Child Protection and Permanency.

A first appearance was scheduled for Aug. 31 in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
