CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Salvatore Vassallo of Cliffside Park, died on Jan. 15. He was 91.
He was born on May 1, 1925 in Queens, and was a WWII US Naval Veteran. Before retiring he was a butcher at Brothers Meat Market in Fairview.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Tufano; children, Jerry and his wife Christine and Frank; sisters, Ursulina Vernaglia and Johanna Favia; grandchildren, Jered, Jamen, Nina and Nikki; and great-grandchildren, Bear and Archie.
Services are being handled privately under the supervision of A.K. Macagna Funeral Home.
