She was born Dec. 2, 1912, in Garfield. She previously worked for Stern's in Paramus, Bendix in Teterboro and as a telephone operator in New York City. She was a parishioner of Church of the Immaculate Conception in Hackensack.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Ferro Jr.; and parents, Fortunato and Mildred.
She is survived by her children, Trudy Calabrese and Anne Ferro; grandchildren, Deborah Gallucci and her husband Tom, Frank Calabrese and his wife Lisa, Donna Douvris and her husband Tony, Michael Calabrese and his wife Lisa, Robert Kelly and Anthony Kelly and Helena Duarte; great-grandchildren, Tommy, Michael, John, Frankie, Christopher, Michelle, Peter and Angela; great-great-grandchild, Frances Rose; and siblings, Jean Minning and the late Alfred and Thomas Mirabito
The funeral will begin at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Service, 397 Union St., Hackensack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Ave., Hackensack. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery in Hackensack. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
