She was the wife of the late John P. Oates; stepmother of Kathleen Oates Frato and her husband Ronald, Deborah Sparnon and her husband John, John Oates Jr. and his wife Mary, Nora Frato and her husband Richard, Elizabeth Koenig and her husband Brian, Michael Oates and his wife Lisa and Patricia Hester and her late husband Brian; sister of the late Joseph and Mary; aunt of Nancy Costello, Patrick Maginnis and the late Joseph Maginnia. She also is survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews.
The funeral service is at 10 a.m. Monday at the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Ave., Fort Lee, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be private.
Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
