TEANECK, N.J. -- Peter Thomas Sapunarich, a resident of Teaneck, died Wednesday, March 30. He was 61.
He was born June 23, 1954, in Teaneck, N.J.
He served in the Army as an executive chef. As a civilian, he worked as a service manager for Jersey City Ford for over 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Sapunarich; five children, Jessica, Juanita, Janine, Seana and Jonathan; four granddaughters, Miranda, Saniya, Brielle and Haley; and his siblings, Cathy, Madeline, Marie, Jimmy S., Jimmy W., Jeannie, Noreen, Patty, TJ and Butch.
He was predeceased by his mother, Madeline Madeline Tennison; his stepfather, Thomas Sapunarich; his father, Frank Sapunarich; his stepmother Jean Ann Sapunarich; and his brother Michael.
The viewing will be Sunday, April 3, from 4-8 p.m. at Macagna Funeral Home in Cliffside Park. A special Mass will follow honoring his life and service as a veteran Monday, April 4, at 10 a.m. at Epiphany Church in Cliffside Park, N.J.
