CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. — Michael V. Russo, 89, of Cliffside Park, died Oct. 26.
He was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Cliffside Park.
Russo was a retired butcher and worked as building and grounds supervisor for the Palisades Park Board of Education. He also was a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church in Fairview.
He was predeceased by his wife, Adele (nee) Amato.
He is survived by his children, Michael and his wife Christine, Joanne McCloskey and her husband Carl and the late Stephen; siblings, Stephen Russo, the late Concetta "Gen" Borecki and the late Carl Russo; and grandchildren, Krisandra, Michael, Stephanie, Michael, Jessica, Nicole, Carl and Melissa.
There will be a funeral at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, thence to Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church in Fairview, where a 9:30 a.m. funeral Mass will be offered. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive their friends from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
