Mark P. Gobo, 56, Of Cliffside Park

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Mark P. Gobo, a lifelong resident of Cliffside Park, died Thursday, Jan.21. He was 56. 

After graduating from Cliffside Park High School, Gobo became a tug boat captain in his early 20s, working for Moran Marine Towing.

He is survived by his brother Altair Gobo and his wife Maria, Kathleen Gobo Meluso and her husband Paul and Kim Gobo and her husband Dorijano. He also was an uncle to Alex and Michael Gobo.

He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Doris Gobo.

A funeral is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday at A.K. Macagna Funeral Home 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park and then to Our Lady of Grace RC Church in Fairview, where a funeral Mass will be offered at 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

Visitation is from 4-8 pm. Sunday at the funeral home.
