FAIRVIEW, N.J. -- Maria Nicolich Carcich, 92, of Fairview, died Oct. 11.
She was born Feb. 27, 1924, to Martin and Maria Nicolich in Unie, Italy.
Before retiring, she worked as a seamstress for Harolds Sportswear in Fairview.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ambrogio "Gino"; and brother, John.
She is survived by her children, Fides Budinich and her husband Anthony and a late daughter; grandchildren, Sonia and her husband Mauricio, Christine Budinich, David Budinich and his wife Hope and Brian Budinich; and great-grandchildren, Alexander, Simon, and Luke Belanic, the late Nicholas Belanic and Andrew Belanic.
There will be a funeral at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, thence to Madonna Church on the Hill in Fort Lee for a 9:30 a.m. funeral Mass. Entombment will follow at Madonna Mausoleum in Fort Lee. The family will receive their friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
