Joseph M. Ingenito, 70, Of Cliffside Park

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Longtime member and coach of Cliffside Park Little League Joseph M. Ingenito died Friday, Dec. 25. He was 70.

Ingenito was a decorated U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He received a Purple Heart, Silver Star and the Army Commendation Medal.

He was a supervisor at Purified Downs in Ridgefield before retiring.

Ingenito is survived by children Joseph and his wife Diane, Thomas and his wife Eleni and Janine Larcheveque and her husband Charles; brother Michael and his wife Simone, sisters-in-law Frances Ruiz and Monica Rondholz; grandchildren Sofia Ingenito and Charles Larcheveque Jr.; nieces and nephews Laura, Jason, Erica, Jillian and Justine; and great-nieces and great-nephew Savannah, Pearl, Isla and Nicholas.

He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Kaczynski) Ingenito.

Visiting hours are from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park. The funeral will be at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at the Epiphany RC Church, in Cliffside Park. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, in Hackensack.
