Born in Lowell, Mass., he grew up in Edgewater and lived in Glen Rock for 26 years.
Despite not having been born here, John was a real “Jersey boy” -- passionate about the shore and Bruce Springsteen.
He was a loyal fan of the Mets, Giants and Rangers, and was an avid golfer.
As a member of the Glen Rock Jaycees, John organized their annual Santa Train Ride. He loved to travel and spend time with family and friends.
John attended Fordham University where he met his wife of 26 years, Mary. He was the beloved father of Nicholas.
John is also survived by his sister Anastasia and her husband Jack, his brother George and his wife Marina, his brother-in-law Robert Guarinello and his wife Terese, his brother-in-law James Guarinello and many nieces and nephews.
Interment was at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
