CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.Y. -- Jeanette Emily Spira, of Cliffside Park and Palm Beach Gardens, died on March 2.
Born in Gdansk, Spira came to this country in 1938 as a young girl with her parents Louise and Marc Seyden shortly before the invasion of Poland. She was a longtime resident of Ridgewood, where she raised her family and co-owned the Focus Art gallery, which led her to a lifetime of art collecting.
Beloved and devoted wife of Seymour L. Spira for 65 years, loving mother to David (Shan), Leslie (Mark), and Ellie (Fred); fabulous grandmother to Heather (Greg), Daniel, Jeremy (Sessy), Zachary, Ethan and Kayla and loving great-grandmother to Arden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either the Jewish Home at Rockleigh or Morse Life Health System.
