BOGOTA, N.J. – Bridget Delia Rush Manning, a longtime resident of Bogota, died Tuesday, May 17. She was 90.
She was a longtime and dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church in Bogota. She also was an active member of the Bergen Irish Association, where she formally served as vice president. She also worked in the cafeteria at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
She is survived by her son, John Manning and his wife Theresa; grandchildren Jessica and Sean; and siblings, Mary Flynn, Anna Mae McGovern, Margaret Dennehy, Philomena Kenny and the late Josey Griffin.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 5-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10:30 a.m. Monday at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck. A funeral service will commence at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home to St. Joseph’s RC Church for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly.
