BOGOTA, N.J. -- Arlyn Q. Gacayan, 39, of Bogota and formerly of Jersey City, died Sunday, July 3, 2016.
She was the wife of Andrew Bolles; mother of Julia; daughter of Araneto and Adoracion Gacayan; and sister of Arnoel, Araneto, Arvin and Arvelyn.
Gacayan was a dedicated nurse at Hoboken Medical Center in Hoboken. She was a member of the New York Road Runners and completed the New York City Marathon. She also was a parishioner of St. Aloysius RC Church in Jersey City.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at St. Aloysius RC Church, 691 West Side Ave., Jersey City at a time to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Aloysius RC Church, 691 West Side Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07304 would be appreciated by the family.
