CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Antonia Picnic, 88, of Cliffside Park, passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, in Teaneck.
Picnic was born Nov. 10, 1927, in Susak, Croatia, to Ivan and Marija Scrivanich.
Upon coming to the United States, Picnic was employed as a factory worker in Hoboken.
She was the wife of the late Lorenzo; mother of Anna Tarabocchia and her husband Matte and Marija Picinic-Lizzi and her husband Michael; grandmother of Anthony and his wife Tracy, Annie Tarabocchia, Dino Mattessich, Steven Tarabocchia and his wife Michel, Lawrence Mattessich and his wife Marisa, Melissa Petrowsky and her husband Kristopher, Eric Mattessich and his fiance Nicole and Krista Mattessich; great-grandmother of Matthew, Nicholas, Jenna, Lorenzo and Leah; sister of the late Martino Scrivanich, the late Nicolo Scrivanich, the late John Scrivanich and Marija Matesic.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, then to Church of the Epiphany in Cliffside Park, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum in Fairview.
The family will receive their friends for visitation from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
