400 EZ Pass Violations For Trucker Arrested At GWB

FORT LEE, N.J. -- A truck driver who had an expired registration and hundreds of outstanding violations totaling more than $28,000 in tolls and fees was arrested, along with the owner of the vehicle, Friday after being pulled over at the George Washington Bridge, NJ.com reports.

Roger Lewis Jr., 49 of Jersey City, was stopped after the automated sign in the EZ Pass lane said the toll hadn't been paid, the article says.

The truck's license plates were fraudulent and the EZ Pass transponder was not assigned to the truck, NJ.com says.

The vehicle's owner, Ganiyu Odubanku of North Carolina was arrested for theft of services and an outstanding warrant, the article says.
