Wayne First Grader Kicks Off Kind Campaign On 'Good Morning America'

WAYNE, N.J. — A first grader from the Randall School in Wayne helped kick off a nationwide campaign Tuesday on Good Morning America.

Nicholas DeVincentis and co-host Michael Strahan got the ball rolling on the Great Kindness Campaign, a week-long event where 10 million American children are expected to perform half-a-billion acts of kindness.

Some of the challenges, which kids choose from a 50-point checklist, include smiling at 25 people, making a new friend, helping a younger student and more.
