Bri Strong: Fort Lee Girl Fighting Cancer Needs Bone Marrow Match

FORT LEE, N.J. — It's been one year since Fort Lee seventh grader Briana Lopez was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

She was declared cancer-free over the summer but, unfortunately, the cancer has returned. Lopez is in desperate need of a compatible match for another life-saving bone marrow transplant.

A bone marrow drive will be held for Lopez on Feb. 12 at the Fort Lee recreation center from noon to 4 p.m.
