Bogota Girl Scouts Sponsor Blood Drive Linked To Library Book Donation

BOGOTA, N.J. -- Bogota Girl Scout Jr. Troop 94500 is sponsoring a blood drive Friday, Nov. 27, from 1-5 p.m. at the Bogota Recreation Center, 162 West Main St.

The theme is Give Red for Black Friday, since the drive is on the day after Thanksgiving.

For each donation, Community Blood Services will donate a free book to the local library.

The group will do this along with the theme of give red for Black Friday.

Walk-ins are welcome to the event but those can also schedule appointments in advance.

The group wants to remind the community that every drop counts. A life shared is a life saved, so all eligible parties should consider making a donation.
