CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. — It's been Danielle Peyton's lifelong dream to open a dance studio and now, she has one — right in Cliffside Park.
The Brooklyn, N.Y. native offers ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, acro-dance, hip-hop, Broadway, contemporary and flamenco classes in Danielle Peyton Dance Company's Palisade Avenue studio.
Cliffside Park Mayor Thomas Calabrese will cut the ribbon at an Oct. 1 ceremony featuring food, music.
"I am honored to be able to provide such a wonderful community with an art as fulfilling and incredible as dance," Peyton told Daily Voice.
"I have been a dancer my entire life, and speak from experience when I say the lessons learned, goals achieved, and friendships made while being a member of a dance company are precious ones that last a lifetime."
Peyton is looking forward to forming regional and national competition teams, and monthly Zumba Fitness classes for adults.
